The war of words between Dana White and Eddie Hearn has taken another turn, with the UFC CEO calling the Matchroom Boxing boss “delusional” before Hearn responded with a video montage aimed at White’s previous comments.
The latest exchange comes as the two promoters continue to disagree publicly over White’s involvement in the December 11 heavyweight showdown in Cardiff, Wales. Speaking to reporters after UFC 332 in Salt Lake City on Thursday, White insisted that he is involved in the Fury-Joshua event and pushed back strongly against Hearn’s repeated claims that White has no official promotional role. White said he is both promoting and producing the event, while accusing Hearn of trying to win a public-relations battle.
“Was I lying? Was I wrong? Am I not the promoter?,” White told MMA Fighting. “Am I not producing the entire f*cking event? The answer is yes. I think the difference between me and Eddie is Eddie’s trying to win some PR battle. Eddie likes to see himself on interviews. He likes to talk a lot and talking a lot will get you in a lot of f*cking trouble.” White later added in a few more personal shots at Hearn for good measure.

“I’ll put it to you this way: Like I said, judge me at the end of the year,” White said. “Let’s see how this whole thing looks in a couple of years. The writing is on the wall. Whatever little f*cking—pardon me, ladies—p*ssy game he thinks he won, he’s out of his mind. He’s incredibly delusional. He knows what’s going on.” The comments add another chapter to a feud that has grown throughout 2026, with the pair previously trading shots over boxing’s promotional landscape and White’s involvement with Zuffa Boxing.
Hearn didn’t respond with another lengthy interview. Instead, he posted a video montage containing clips of White discussing Fury vs. Joshua on previous occasions. The footage highlights several instances where White appeared to predict that the fight would take place in the United States, while the bout is now scheduled for Cardiff, Wales, on December 11. “Gonna leave this one here,” Hearn wrote in a caption. “Time to move on to the big stuff. 10 weeks today the biggest fight in British boxing history! Let’s gooooo”

Despite the promotional dispute, the focus ultimately remains on the heavyweight blockbuster between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. The fight is scheduled for December 11 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, bringing together two of Britain’s biggest heavyweight names. For now, White and Hearn remain locked in a public war of words, with White insisting his involvement is legitimate and Hearn using White’s own previous statements as ammunition. And with the fight still weeks away, the promotional drama appears far from finished.
