EARLY LIFE
Wade Kerspuy is a seasoned fighter who is skilled in kickboxing and karate. The athlete has been in seven amateur fights and five professional bouts.
MMA CAREER
The fighter has competed in Fightstar FC, the 2016 IMMAF All Africa Championships, the 2017 IMMAF African Open Championship. and EFC tournaments. His first amateur fight was against Luan De Rant, and he lost the fight following a split decision. Next, he was defeated by Serdar Atlas and lost the battle after a unanimous decision. Afterwards, he defeated Katiso Matime after pummeling him with strikes that ended with a round two KO. Later, he battled Johannes Rudolph and won the fight after a round-one TKO. Following this, he fought against Micky Cloete and soon had him in armbar in the opening round. His last two amateur fights against Raish Muhamad Musa and Hussain Maki ended in a unanimous decision win for Kerspuy.
Kerpsuy soon made his professional debut at EFC Worldwide 65, where he faced Guy Mongambi and lost the battle after a knee trike took him out in round three. Next, he faced Hishaam Kamish. Kerspuy came in with a takedown, but Kamsh had him in a headlock in a half-guard. The two continued to grapple, but Lerspuy went for a full mount and soon got on Kamish’s back, where he wrestled with him until he trapped him in a rear naked choke.
Next, he battled Asiashu Tshitamba and lost after suffering punches that led to a TKO in round two. After this, Kerspuy fought Josemare Emerson Octavia and won the fight following an armbar in round one. His last recorded match was against Julio Plaatjies, and he suffered defeat after a barrage of punches led to a TKO in round one.
