The Enterprise Center, UFC St Louis, played host to some of the most exhilarating fights and crazy MMA moments over the weekend. But like all entertaining bouts, not every fighter comes away unscathed.

Following the UFC St Louis tournament on Saturday, of the twenty-four fighters who competed at the event, nine fighters were given medical suspensions for at least 30 days, with two receiving indefinite layoffs after suffering knockouts. The Missouri Office of Athletics issued the suspension on Monday. The suspensions were given due to injuries sustained in the fight, but most fighters often return after recovering and getting cleared by a physician. Some of the suspended fighters include:

Mateusz Rebecki: The fighter suffered multiple injuries and cuts in his battle against Diego Ferreira and received a 90-day/ indefinite suspension until a neurologist clears him.

Terrance McKinney: He suffered a brutal head-kick KO loss at the hands of Esteban Ribovics in the undercard and was given a 90-day/ indefinite suspension till a physician clears him.

Rodrigo Nascimento: 30-day suspension

Nursulton Ruziboev: 60-day suspension

Alonzo Menifield: 60-day suspension

Alex Caceres: 30-day suspension

Viacheslav Borshchev: 60-day suspension

Trey Waters: 30-day suspension

Billy Goff: 30-day suspension
