Wrestler Logan Paul recently revealed that UFC CEO Dana White ignored his offer to fight in the octagon.
Paul has been out of action since securing a disqualification win over Dillon Danis in 2023. After that fight, The Maverick announced his retirement from boxing, but he still plans to compete in other combat sports. Currently, he is competing at the amateur level in WWE and hopes to transition to the UFC, but this may prove to be more challenging than he anticipated.
The wrestler disclosed that he reached out to White about competing in the octagon on two different occasions. The first was for UFC 300 in Las Vegas, and the second was for UFC 306, but the UFC CEO ignored his messages.
“I told Dana for UFC 300, I texted him, ‘Hey man, consider me available to fight on the undercard in the Sphere,’” Paul said. “He basically completely ignored me, which I think speaks volumes. I haven’t bothered him about it since.
“I think for the right fight, the right amount of money, [I would do it], and I’m an entertainer at the end of the day.”
Although White was initially open to welcoming Logan Paul into the UFC, he appears to have had a change of heart. Paul believes that CM Punk might be the reason behind this shift in attitude.

Phil Brooks, better known as CM Punk, signed a deal with the UFC after leaving WWE, but he suffered two consecutive losses before eventually returning to professional wrestling. Paul believes that Punk’s poor performance may have discouraged White from bringing in more pro wrestlers.
“He fcked it up,” Paul said about Punk. “He fcked it up, and after that, Dana was like, ‘I’m never doing this again.’
“But dude, I’m not CM Punk. He’s a great wrestler, not a UFC fighter. I think I would be a much better UFC fighter than I am a boxer. My skill is wrestling. I’m a wrestler.”
Although he was serious about the move when he initially reached out to White, Paul now says he is more dedicated than ever to his WWE career.
“I think I found my path,” Paul said. “I’m a WWE superstar now, and it’s one of the only things I’ve done in my life where I feel so at home—like, ‘Oh, you were kind of meant to do this.’ I don’t know if I want to turn away from that at the moment and dedicate time to something that would be like a side quest at this point.”
It remains uncertain who Paul will fight next, but for now, he is content with pursuing his WWE career.
