Logan Paul cleared in CryptoZoo lawsuit after Judge dismisses all claims. Logan Paul who said Dana White ignored his offer to Fight on UFC undercard, has been cleared of the class-action lawsuit filed over his failed crypto project, CryptoZoo..
According to a report by MMA Fighting, Judge Alan Albright of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas agreed with an earlier recommendation to throw out the case. The decision brings an end to a legal battle that began in early 2023, when investors accused Paul and his team of misleading the public about CryptoZoo.
“It is further ordered that Defendant Logan Paul’s Motion to Dismiss is hereby granted as to all counts and all 27 of Plaintiffs’ claims be dismissed,” the judge wrote in his ruling. CryptoZoo was the program that Paul initially announced plans to launch the game where users could buy and hatch “egg NFTs,” which would then reveal an animal that players could collect. Paul initially pitched CryptoZoo as a “game that earns you money,” but an online investigation revealed numerous issues with the program, which eventually led to a lawsuit being filed in Federal court in Texas.

Several investors sued Paul, claiming he had “rug-pulled” the project, promoting it for profit before abandoning it. Paul denied the accusations, insisting he also lost money and never intended to defraud anyone. Paul vowed to “make things right” and eventually announced a buyback program to refund users scammed by the game. The 30-year-old Ohio native eventually filed a lawsuit of his own against his former CryptoZoo partners accusing them of mismanaging the project and deceiving him.
The lawsuit, filed in Texas, lists Logan Paul as the plaintiff and names Eduardo Ibanez and Jake Greenbaum as defendants. In the filing, Paul describes them as “con artists” who allegedly misrepresented their resumes, experience, and intentions during the CryptoZoo project. The suit accuses both men of fraud and deceit, emphasizing that Paul himself never earned any profit from the game.

In the ruling, Judge Albright stated that the lawsuit failed to show sufficient evidence linking Paul’s actions to the plaintiffs’ financial losses. As a result, the entire case was dismissed. Following the court’s decision, Paul reacted online with a short post on social media: “Case dismissed.”
The dismissal marks a major win for Logan Paul, who has faced heavy criticism over the CryptoZoo controversy. While the court’s ruling closes this legal chapter, questions around influencer-backed crypto projects and accountability in the digital space continue to spark debate. Case closed for Logan Paul, but the crypto world isn’t forgetting anytime soon.
