EARLY LIFE
The Irish fighter Indra Davis started her career in combat sports where she began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ). Davis trains at the Affiliate gym and has competed in smoothcomp for the purple belt and in BJJ tournaments such as Arena Fight Dublin, Shaolin MMA, ESJJ Portugues, Irish NoGi Open 2017, Dublin International Open, Cork Winter Open 17, ADCC Irish Open 2018, Northern Ireland No Gi Championships 2019, Grappling Industries Dublin, etc.
In these competitions, Davis has won Gold and Silver medals in some and has a total of eight wins, five by points, one walkover, and two submissions. She began her journey into MMA in 2018 and has been in two fights, one amateur and one professional.
MMA CAREER
Her debut into the MMA sport amateur level began at Chaos FC, where she battled her fellow countrywoman Emma McGlynn in the catchweight division. The fight started with the two opponents coming in hot and swinging punches. Davis managed to get her arms around McGlynn and wrapped her in a death grip before taking her down. Although she tried to find some wiggle room, Davis was unperturbed and remained on top.
Subsequently, the second round commenced with Davis closing the gap and taking down McGlynn again. She stayed on top and delivered a heavy ground pound that knocked out McGlynn in the second round, leaving Davis victorious. Her next fight was against Levi Steedman but the bout was canceled. Her next fight after that saw her compete at a professional level. In this bout, she faced Dee Begley at the Clan Wars 40 tournament, flyweight division. Sadly she lost the match in round two via TKO.

Davis has proven herself to be a skilled fighter in BJJ and Muay Thai and shows excellent proficiency in her preferred fighting style, grappling.
