EARLY LIFE
Ananias Mulumba hails from Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and trains out of Elite Training Center there. He began his MMA journey around 2016, transitioning from Kyokushin karate (a black belt, first dan) under coach Hadad Moser’s guidance.
MMA CAREER
Mulumba made his professional debut in April 2022 at Imbgim FC 1, suffering a unanimous decision loss to Endom Bikim Steve Durant. He bounced back with a KO victory over Adams Zikpli at Lome Fight Night 8 (Pitbull FC).
Next, he scored a TKO win (doctor stoppage) against Adams Zikpli again at Lome Fight Night 9. His winning streak continued when he scored a submission (rear-naked choke) win over Isaac Commey at Face Off Fight Night 3.
Afterwards was another submission (rear-naked choke)win over Uchejim Onyeka at Impact Championship 2. In 2023, Mulumba scored another submission (rear-naked choke) over Victor Dooga at AKO 1 and Cornel Thompson at AKO 2: Emeka vs. Yacouba.
The fighter’s winning streak finally came to an end when he suffered a loss by technical submission (guillotine choke) to Ylies Djiroun at Brave CF 82, but he returned with a TKO (punches) win over Jonathan Lamptey at AKO 4. Next was a TKO win over Jackiel Ayana at AKO 6. His most recent recorded win was a submission (rear-naked choke) against Amer El Shanshory at UAE Warriors 59.
