Dana White isn’t just trying to break records, he’s ready to make history. The UFC boss is preparing what he calls the most stacked card of all time, and he wants it to go down on sacred ground. If everything falls into place, the White House main event will redefine what combat sports can look like.

The idea sparked to life when President Donald Trump revealed plans to host a special UFC event on July 4, 2026, to mark 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. As soon as the announcement hit, White started building what he envisions as a one-of-a-kind spectacle.

“The dream main event would be Aspinall vs. Jones,” White told the Nelk Boys. “He jumped back in the pool. No matter who popped up or who didn’t, we would have put on an incredible card.”

White has never shied away from saying he wanted to see Jon Jones square off with Tom Aspinall before “Bones” walked away for good. Now, with Jones publicly unretiring for this event, that fantasy is one step closer to reality. Nothing’s official yet, but White’s confident. He knows what this card means, and he’s pushing to make it happen.

Then there’s Conor McGregor. When asked if “The Notorious” could make his return at the White House main event, White didn’t hesitate. Could be,” he said.

If everything aligns, the UFC could deliver a legendary night headlined by two of the biggest names the sport has ever seen. However, this won’t be a typical fight night. White is already planning the Octagon’s setup, centered between the White House and the Washington Monument, creating one of the most iconic backdrops in combat sports history.

“Whoever gets to be there live, it will be such a unique, amazing experience in their lifetime to be able to go to this fight,” White said. “When the fight is happening and we are filming, one whole side of the backdrop will be the White House, and the other side will be the Washington Monument. It’s so unique, so badass… I don’t think we’ll sell tickets to that event. It’ll all be comp tickets.”

He’s realistic about the challenges. Security’s tight. Secret Service won’t just let anyone in, and every person on-site will go through a full background check. However, that’s part of what makes this night different. It’s not just another UFC card, it’s a national statement.

Fans might not get the chance to buy their way in, but there’s no doubt the White House main event will go down as one of the most talked-about fight nights of the decade. The UFC’s rise has always been about pushing boundaries, and if White has his way, this card will become a defining moment in the sport’s legacy.

“It’s so once-ever,” he said. “Like you said… it’s just bada.”
