Floyd Mayweather has once again found himself at the center of controversy after YouTuber and WWE star Logan Paul renewed claims that the boxing legend still owes him $1.5 million from their 2021 exhibition bout.

The two squared off at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami in one of the most talked-about crossover boxing events in recent memory. Since the contest was an exhibition, no official winner was declared, and the fight ended in a draw after eight rounds.

At the time, Floyd Mayweather claimed he earned as much as $100 million from the event. Logan Paul, meanwhile, received a guaranteed purse of $250,000 and later revealed that his total earnings were closer to $5 million.

According to the social media star, Mayweather sold the broadcast rights to the fight to a Middle Eastern company for $10 million before the event. Paul claims the deal used his name and image and that he was entitled to 15 percent of the agreement, which amounts to $1.5 million.

Paul has repeatedly maintained that the debt remains unpaid and continues to pursue what he believes is rightfully his.

The dispute resurfaced this week when Floyd Mayweather was asked directly about the allegations during an interview with Come And Talk 2 Me. Rather than address the claim in detail, the former world champion offered a brief response.

“I wish him nothing but the best,” Mayweather said.

The response did little to settle the issue and has only fueled further speculation about the long-running disagreement between the two men.

The latest claims come during a period when Floyd Mayweather has faced increasing attention over his business affairs.

Recent reports suggested that Mayweather was exploring several exhibition opportunities, including a proposed rematch with Manny Pacquiao. However, those plans reportedly fell through, adding to the growing discussion surrounding the boxing icon’s financial situation.

Even UFC CEO Dana White recently addressed the speculation and revealed that he had spoken with Mayweather privately about some of the issues making headlines.

For Logan Paul, the dispute remains unresolved. The WWE star continues to insist that Floyd Mayweather owes him $1.5 million stemming from the pre-sale of the fight rights ahead of their exhibition showdown.

Regardless of the ongoing disagreement, Floyd Mayweather remains one of the most accomplished fighters in boxing history. The undefeated superstar retired with a professional record of 50-0, including 27 knockout victories, and built a reputation as one of the sport’s biggest attractions.
