EARLY LIFE
Themba Mkhize is a seasoned fighter skilled in Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and judo. The fighter has been in eight amateur fights and six professional bouts.
MMA CAREER
The fighter competed at tournaments like the African Fight League, MFC Fight Zone, Shuriken Dojo Amateurs, and Gauteng FC during his amateur career before moving on to the IMPI Fighting Championship World Series, Last Fighter Standing, and EFC Worldwide for his professional career. Mkhize faced off against Shane Cambell during his amateur debut, and he dominated his opponent with a TKO in round one.
Next, he battled Martin De Beer and lost the fight after getting locked in an armbar in the second round. Later, he faced Sbonga Masango and defeated his opponent after pummeling him with blows that led to a TKO. Mkhize soon faced defeat at the hands of Sfiso Ngcobo after a flurry of punches led to a first-round KO. Next, he faced Dave Verster at MFC Fight Zone 80 and lost.
