Zuckerberg

UFC CEO Dana White isn’t holding back when it comes to his thoughts on Mark Zuckerberg’s fighting ability. While most people still see the Meta boss as a tech nerd, White insists that image couldn’t be further from the truth.

A longtime MMA enthusiast, Mark Zuckerberg has been a regular face at UFC events, even renting out the UFC Apex to catch the action up close. The Meta CEO trains in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and has rolled with top fighters like Alexander Volkanovski and Alex Pereira, earning respect across the MMA world for his dedication to the sport.

During a recent appearance on The Him & Her Show, Dana White doubled down on his claim that Zuckerberg is far from your average tech billionaire.

“People talk shit about Zuckerberg, Zuckerberg’s actually a great athlete,” White said. “He trains in MMA, he surfs, he does all this shit. Zuckerberg will beat the shit out of you.”

White didn’t stop there. He pointed out how most people underestimate Zuckerberg’s physicality simply because of his background in tech.

“Everybody thinks he’s some computer nerd. Mark Zuckerberg will beat the living shit out of you,” White added. “All these guys that talk stuff about him on the internet, yeah, he’ll kick your ass.”

Zuckerberg’s passion for MMA isn’t just a hobby; it’s part of his lifestyle. He’s competed in grappling tournaments and often shares training sessions with elite UFC fighters on social media. And his partnership with Dana White goes beyond fandom, the two recently joined forces on a business venture, where Zuckerberg’s input has been instrumental in refining UFC’s ranking criteria.

Zuckerberg

Of course, fans will remember White’s bold attempt to promote a fight between Zuckerberg and Elon Musk, an idea that caught the world’s attention. While the billionaire brawl never came to life, White revealed that Musk also has a combat sports background.

“The thing with Elon is, during that whole thing, I found out he grew up doing Judo,” White said. “So he’s a Judo guy. That whole thing was fascinating.”

Though the long-hyped “Zuckerberg vs. Musk” bout didn’t happen, White admits it was one of the most entertaining promotional moments of his career.

“A fun moment in my career was trying to put that thing together,” White said. “Promoting the Elon-Zuckerberg fight was a lot of fun.”

Still, Dana White is making one thing very clear: Zuckerberg isn’t just dabbling in martial arts for show.

“The moral of the story is, all you telephone and internet tough guys that talk shit about Mark Zuckerberg, Zuckerberg will beat the shit out of every one of you,” White warned.
