MMA CAREER

The fighter has competed in various MMA tournaments, such as MFC Fight Zone, EFC Worldwide, UAE Warriors, and EFC. His first amateur fight saw him face off against Henco Van Der Westhuisen, and he won this match after a round of punches led to a TKO in round one. Later, he battled Andile Madlala and won after a heavy ground pound in the first round.

Badat finally made his professional debut, where he battled Willem Smith and dominated his rival in a first-round ground pound. Afterwards, he faced Giovanni Pretorius and won following a heel hook in the opening round.

Following this, Badat faced Erçin Sirin at the UAE Warriors. Sirin came in with a leg kick, but Badat kept his guard up and responded with a big high kick before following up with a takedown. He went for a full mount before locking his opponent in an inverted triangle that led to a round submission. Badat’s winning streak finally came to an end when he faced Jonathan Wernz and lost the fight after a unanimous decision.

Next, he faced Ndidi Alonu. The two came with heavy strikes and punches, but by round three, Badat landed a heavy right hand before a takedown, ground pound, and elbow shots led to a TKO.

Subsequently, he fought Eslam Abdul Basset at the UAE Warrior. The two came in with leg kicks but kept their distance for most of round one. Badat soon went for a takedown, but Basset got right back up. He held onto his back and wrestled another takedown. The two remained in a clinch till the round ended. The consecutive rounds were pretty similar to the first, but Basset managed to score more precise strikes and emerged the winner following a unanimous decision.
