EARLY LIFE

Vince Bembe is a ferocious fighter affiliated with Dominators Den Secunda. He is currently ranked #6 in South Africa’s Pro featherweights and has had 10 professional fights.

MMA CAREER

Bembe has mainly competed at the EFC and UAE Warriors MMA tournaments. His first battle was at EFC 87, where he faced Given Majuba in the lightweight category. He defeated his opponent after a von fluke choke led to Majuba’s submission in round one. Next, he battled Warren Richards at EFC 89 and won after a round of punches led to a TKO in the second round.

Later, Bembe squared against Bradley Swanepoel at the EFC 99 featherweight division. Swanepoel came in with hard punches, but Bembe responded with a knee strike. The two clinched up, and Swanepoel got on Bembe’s back and put him in a body lock. HE tried for a choke and kept on landing head and body shots. Bembe slammed Swanepoel to the ground and broke through his grip before landing a knee strike and an uppercut. They clinched up, and he delivered a knee strike, but Bembe wrestled him to the ground. Swanepoel mounted Bembe and continued to land head strikes, but he fired back with strikes before the round ended.

Round two began with the two clinching up and landing knee strikes. Swanepoel soon got on Bembe’s back and went in for some elbow strikes, but Bembe flipped him and fired a few shots before they got back to their feet, where he delivered a knee-to-head strike before a clinch. Swanepoel went in for a takedown, but Bembe remained on his feet. He soon got on Bembe’s back, but Bembe took them to the canvas, where Swanepoel went in for a rear naked choke, and Bembe tapped out.

After this, he faced Trezeguet Kanyinda and won the fight, which was a unanimous decision. Next, he faced Keir Harvie, but the match ended in a draw. He soon faced Ashley Calvert and won following a TKO in the opening round. Later, he faced Sizwe Mnikathi and won after a unanimous decision. Next, he challenged Igeu Kabesa to win the featherweight championship at the EFC 104. The two came in, exchanging blows before a takedown by Kabesa. He landed a couple of head strikes before mounting Bembe. He continued to land strikes, but Bembe tried to maneuver. Kabesa put him in a rear naked choke, which led to a submission in the opening round.

Following this, he went up against Demba Seck and won after a split decision. His last recorded fight was against Maraoune Bellagouit at the UAE Warriors 46. The two came with feints and cautious movement before a leg strike by Bembe and a couple of blows and knee strikes by Bellagouit. Bembe went in for a takedown, but Bellagouit stayed on his feet. The match was paused after an illegal strike, but Bellagouit .After the match resumed, Bembe went in for another takedown, but Bellagouit got back up and hammered his opponent with blows.
