Tracy Cortez is set to run it back with old rival Erin Blanchfield on the November card.
While the promotion has yet to announce the full fight card, it has been confirmed that Cortez will face Blanchfield at the UFC 322 event, set to take place at Madison Square Garden. The two last faced each other at Invicta FC six years ago, and Cortez left the cage with a split-decision win.
Cortez was riding high at the time, building momentum that extended to an eleven-fight winning streak that began in 2017 after losing her pro MMA debut. This run of success ended when she clashed with a former UFC champion.
Cortez’s only loss in the UFC is to former multi-time strawweight champion Rose Namajunas, with “Thug” Rose snapping her winning streak. The 31-year-old has since rebounded and enters this Blanchfield rematch following a unanimous decision victory over Viviane Araujo on June 28 at UFC 317.
