EARLY LIFE
Steven Momah is a Nigerian fighter and has been in the MMA world for fourteen years. He is a skilled fighter and is affiliated with Combat League Gym. Momah has been in five bouts in his MMA career and has only had one victory.
MMA CAREER
The fighter is a versatile opponent who has competed at international MMA tournaments like EFC Worldwide, FCF MMA: World Championship, and EFC Africa. His first pro-debut was against Ramo Ralph. The two clinched up in the opening round before Ralph got a knee strike to the body. He performed a leg claw takedown, but Momah got on top and hammered Ralph. Unfortunately, the match ended after Ralph sustained a shoulder injury, and Momah was crowned the winner by TKO in this battle.
Next, he went up against Martin Van Staden. Staden stalked Momah across the cage before going in for a takedown. He clobbered Momah with punches and elbow strikes to the head before the referee called off the fight, leading to a TKO victory for Staden.
Following this, he faced off against Russian fighter Akhmad Khadeav and lost of the fight in round two. Successively, he faced Johan Van Staden but unfortunately lost the round after receiving multiple punches and strikes that led to a TKO in round two.
Momah’s last known bout was against Pietie Coxen, but again, he lost the fight after multiple punches led to a knockout in the first round.
