EARLY LIFE
Sindile Manengela, a seasoned Judo fighter, made a bold career shift fifteen years ago, venturing into the world of MMA. This transition showcases his versatility and unwavering dedication to the sport. A third-degree judo blackbelt, Manengela is determined to carve his name in the annals of MMA. Currently ranked #7 in South Africa’s bantamweight, he has already participated in eighteen professional fights.
MMA CAREER
The fighter has contested multiple competitions, mainly in the EFC. His first professional debut saw him face off against Nathan Fredericks at EFC Africa 30, and he lost the fight following a TKO in round three. Next, he battled Mtobisi Buthelezi at EFC Africa 34 and was defeated after a KO in the third round. Pierre Botha was his next opponent at EFC Worldwide 41 and was defeated following a unanimous decision. Next, he battled Sfiso Ngcobo and EFC Worldwide 50 and won the battle following a TKO in round two. Next, he faced Tumisang Madiba and was destroyed after suffering a barrage of punches that led to a TKO in the second round.
Following this, he faced Sizwe Mnikathi and won the fight after a majority decision. Later, he fought Barend Nienaber and destroyed his opponent in a rear naked choke in round three.
