EARLY LIFE

The athlete is an expert in kickboxing and boxing. Ogedengbe is associated with SPES Martial Arts Gym and has been in MMA since 2019. He has been in six battles and has suffered three losses.

MMA CAREER

The MMA fighter has competed in tournaments such as the WSC African Warrior King, WSC, Benin FC, and OFU Fight Night. His first battle was against Ghanaian fighter Stephen Abbey. His opponent came in with a hard punch followed by a beautiful takedown. Abbey went in for a headlock, but Ogedengbe got back on his feet and performed a bodyslam. The two continued to grapple but separated seconds before the round ended.

In round two, Ogedengbe came in with a wide kick, but Abbey retaliated with an overhand punch. He sustained an eye injury that led to a break in the round. After his patch-up, he came in with hard punches, and Ogedengbe slipped. Abbey went for a ground and pound but was put in a body lock. After rounds of grappling and wrestling, Ogedengbe won this battle via split decision in the third round.

Next, he faced Ndidi Alonu in the welterweight category and lost the fight after a guillotine choke in round one. He went against Francois Ahizi and suffered another guillotine choke loss in the opening round.

Soon after, he battled Adeleye Olanrewaju and won the match with a unanimous decision. Subsequently, he squared up against John Kennedy but lost the bout after a KO ground pound in round two.

His last recorded match was against Ozioma Orji at the OFU Fight Night 2. The two came in with leg kicks before a clinch to the cage. They separated, but they soon came to blows again. Ogedengbe landed a hard right punch, and Orji responded with a low leg kick before a takedown. He reversed position into a full mount before going for ground and pound, but Orji escaped. Ogedengbe went for a body triangle, but Orji broke through and tried to land a few elbow strikes. Round two saw Ogendgbe deliver a right hand and a high kick to the face, leading to TKO.
