Pimblett

UFC lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett announces his return in March, but it is unknown who he will be facing.

Paddy Pimblett is ranked No. 13 in the official UFC ranking and has smoked every fighter that has been set against him. The fighter’s last bout was against Bobby Green, and he demolished his opponent with a choke submission. After this flawless victory, Pimblett was set to face Renato Moicano, but his opponent was called in to face Beneil Dariush in UFC 311.

Pimblett is yet to step into the cage but Michael Chandler may be his next opponent. Earlier this year, “Iron” spoke about facing Pimblett but did not mention when the fight will occur. The rumours seem authentic as Pimblett also hinted at facing Chandler next in a video posted on Instagram.

“I’m coming for that belt, so I’m looking for higher-ranked fighters now,” Pimblett said. “I’m sure you will see a fight announcement soon enough. I’ve said yeah, and the opponent said yeah, I just need to get stuff signed. So, you know the score, everyone. Like, comment, subscribe, and I’ll see you at the top.”

For his part, ‘Iron’ is fresh off his return to the octagon at UFC 309 last month in New York City. Ending a two-year hiatus, Michael Chandler faced Charles Oliveira in a massive rematch. ‘Do Bronx’ wound up handing the former Bellator champion a unanimous decision defeat, surviving an incredible fifth-round comeback.
