UFC President Dana White has confirmed new broadcast details for the highly anticipated UFC event scheduled to take place at the White House in mid-2026. The record braking event expected to take place on June 14, 2026, on the South Lawn of the White House as part of celebrations for America’s 250th anniversary will not follow the traditional pay-per-view model or standard broadcast formats. Instead, White reiterated that the main card fights will be available only to Paramount+ subscribers, with the possibility that a few preliminary bouts could be shown on CBS.
“It won’t be on CBS, it’ll be on Paramount+,” White told The Mac Life. “One hundred percent, that fight will be on Paramount+. Maybe we do some prelims on CBS, but that fight will be on Paramount+. … There will be fights on CBS, but we’re on Paramount+.”

This decision aligns with the UFC’s recent media rights overhaul: starting in 2026, the promotion’s broadcast rights in the United States move from ESPN to a new seven-year, $7.7 billion agreement with Paramount Global. Under this deal, all UFC Fight Night cards and numbered events will be streamed via Paramount+, with some major events also airing on CBS as part of a broader strategy to expand accessibility.
White’s comments underscore that even a card on the grounds of the White House, perhaps the most talked-about UFC event ever will be part of this new broadcast era. Fans should not expect traditional pay-per-view buys for the event, nor ticket sales for general attendance on the White House lawn instead, the emphasis is on streaming and global reach. While former President Donald Trump and Dana White have touted the event as a historic spectacle with Trump at times mentioning the potential for multiple championship fights White has cautioned that actual matchmaking will not start until early 2026. Fight announcements are expected to follow in the coming months.

“I don’t know yet,” White said. “I honestly don’t know yet. What I’ve told the president is we will deliver a ridiculous card to the White House.” “We were going over all the logistics and this is definitely a Sphere type event, but they were saying—and the president tells me every time he talks to me—they’ve never had more requests for anything that they’ve ever done than this fight,” White said. “The same for us. Everybody is asking how they can get in and how they can get—we’re still figuring out how we’re even going to—first of all, the South Lawn slopes like this. We have to build up the dirt. It’s like the Sphere, yet different.”
As the UFC gears up for this exciting White House showcase, the eyes of the entire combat sports world are locked on what could become the most historic fight card ever assembled. With Paramount+ taking the reins and Dana White promising a production unlike anything fans have seen before, 2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year for the promotion.
