Bia Mesquita targeted for return at UFC Vegas 115 against Montserrat Rendon. Brazilian grappling legend Bia Mesquita is being lined up for her second UFC fight, as the promotion targets her return at UFC Vegas 115 on March 14, 2026, at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

According to MMA Fighting, the UFC is planning a bantamweight matchup between Mesquita and fellow contender Montserrat Rendon for the March fight night card at UFC Vegas 115 on March 14 at the APEX. The bout was first reported by Danny Segura. Mesquita’s journey to the UFC has been remarkable. A 10-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion and ADCC gold medallist, she made a seamless transition to MMA in 2024. After compiling a perfect 5-0 professional record, including capturing the LFA women’s bantamweight title, she earned a contract with the UFC earlier this year.

She made her Octagon debut at UFC Rio in October 2025, where she submitted Irina Alekseeva in the second round via rear-naked choke, a performance that also earned her a Performance of the Night bonus. Her potential opponent, Montserrat Rendon, has been working to establish herself in the UFC’s bantamweight division. Rendon debuted in 2023 with a split-decision win over Tamires Vidal and followed that with a loss to Darya Zheleznyakova. She rebounded in 2025 with a split-decision victory over Alice Pereira at Noche UFC.

This matchup promises to be a compelling test for Mesquita, offering her a chance to build on a strong debut and continue her rise in the competitive 135-lb weight class. With her world-class jiu-jitsu and a flawless start to her MMA career, UFC Vegas 115 could mark another big step forward for Bia Mesquita. If she delivers another dominant performance, it won’t be long before the bantamweight division starts seeing her as more than just a decorated grappler, but a serious threat in the UFC.
