EARLY LIFE
The fighter began his MMA career at a young age. He is an affiliate of the savage fight club and has a nine-time winning streak in all his fights.
MMA CAREER
The athlete has participated in many MMA tournaments, including the F-3 Championship, Malaysia Regional, Octagon FC, and F3:The Ring Fight. His first-ever professional bout was against Malaysian fighter Fzree Akmal, and he annihilated his opponent in the opening round. Festus landed some fatal strikes that saw his opponent submit in round one, leading to his victory. Next, he faced off with Keshenad Kumar in the middleweight division. He dominated his rival after delivering a beautiful round of strikes and jabs that eventually led to a TKO in round one.
Soon after, he went up against Yazliysam Amizan and defeated his opponent after delivering multiple kicks and blows that led to a TKO in the first round. Next, he faced Mohd Fazil and won the match after defeating his opponent via TKO in round one.
After that, he faced Nik Zainul at the Malaysian Fight Championship, middleweight division. The match started with Festus delivering deadly kicks that saw Zainul wobble in the first round. He threw Zainul to the floor and leg-kicked him while he tried to get back on his feet. Festus followed through with some jabs and kicks that saw Zainul fall to the ground, and Festus followed up with some hammer fists that had the referee calling an end to the bout, leading to Festus’s first-round victory yet again.
Following this, he faced Simon Khor at the Octagon FC. The strikers came in with deadly low-leg kicks and tested each other’s defences. Khor went in for a takedown, but Festus remained on his feet and landed blows of his own. Both opponents ended up on the ground, and Festus took the opportunity to deliver some body shots and strikes to the head. The opponents kept at it and landed multiple strikes before the match was brought to a close, leaving Festus victorious via unanimous decisions in round three.
Next, he faced Ricky Peh. The match began with Festus performing a flawless takedown before hammer-fisting his opponent, who tried his best to reach his feet. In round two, Festus went for another takedown and continued with fatal strikes, but Peh managed to keep him at bay. Round three began with Festus going for another takedown, but Peh has the upper hand instead and flattens Festus. The two remain locked till the match ends, but Festus secured a win via unanimous decision.
Festus’s following match saw him face off against Sahil Dahiya, and he won this fight after landing a heavy ground pound that led to a TKO in round two. His last recorded bout was against Ethan Teo, and he won this battle by unanimous decision after the third round.
