EARLY LIFE

Amisi Kabeya is a skilled fighter with immeasurable fighting skills in kickboxing and MMA. The fighter is ranked #51 in South Africa’s pro featherweight and has been in five professional bouts and two amateur battles.’

MMA CAREER

The fighter made his MMA amateur debut at Fightstar FC 17, facing Sheldon James Victor and winning following a split decision. Next, he battled Quinton Du Toit and destroyed his opponent via TKO in round one.


Kabeya made his professional debut at EFC Worldwide 67, where he faced Devon Cronje. He came in with hard leg kicks and a sharp right jab. He continued to fire punches, but Cronje kept his guard up. Kabeya was relentless in his attack, but Cronje soon went for a takedown and a body triangle choke, but Kabeya broke through. Cronje remained on his back and went for a rear naked choke that led to Kabeya’s submission in round one.


Next, he faced Danie Swart at EFC Worldwide 73. Swart came in with flying leg kicks, but Kabeya countered with heavy strikes. Swart went for a takedown, but it ended in a clinch. Kabeya went for a takedown, and Swart tried to stay in the fight by landing elbow shots, but Kabeya overpowered him and landed heavy ground pounding that led to a TKO.

Afterwards, Kabeya squared off against Marcel Conrad Els. Kabeye came in with a vicious left cross and continued to pepper Conrad with punches before a huge right hand dropped his opponent. Kabeya continued to land punches, but Conrad soon had him in a leg triangle. Kabeya broke through and landed some more ground and pound before he was kicked out. He soon came down on Conrad again and landed a brutal ground pound before Conrad was back on his feet. Kabeya went in for a takedown, but Conrad soon had him in an armbar, which led to his first-round submission.

Next, he faced Stephan De La Rey. After an action-packed round filled with heavy strikes and punches, Kabeya verbally forfeited due to a shoulder injury. Next, he battled Shannon van Tonder and lost following a rear naked choke in round three. His last recorded battle was against Aureo Cruz, and he lost the fight. A round of punches and strikes led to a TKO in round two.
