UFC legend and first UFC female fighter, Ronda Rousey has not confirmed whether she will ever return to competition, but she made it clear that if she does, it won’t be for the president or the White House card.
Rousey has stayed out of the Octagon since giving birth to her second child. While she remains active with her training gym, speculation about a potential comeback has followed her for years. Many fans believed the highly anticipated White House card, already linked to comebacks from stars like Jon Jones and Conor McGregor, might lure her back. However, Rousey dismissed the hype, stating she has no interest in fighting on the card.
“I am not fighting at the White House,” Rousey said on The Lapsed Fan Podcast. “I mean, after Mike Tyson being the biggest fight of the year [vs. Jake Paul], you never say never [on a return]. But I ain’t fighting on the f*cking White House.”
When asked why she would turn down an offer from UFC CEO Dana White or the UFC brass, Rousey kept her response lighthearted.

“I got better shit to do,” Rousey said. “My kid needs pasta.”
While she hasn’t completely ruled out the possibility of a comeback, Rousey is currently more focused on raising her children and dedicating herself to her family.
Rousey made her UFC debut at UFC 157 in February 2013, where she submitted Liz Carmouche in the main event to retain her bantamweight title, which carried over from Strikeforce. She went on to defend the belt five more times before suffering a shocking knockout loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November 2015. Thirteen months later, she returned against Amanda Nunes at UFC 207, but Nunes stopped her in just 48 seconds. That fight marked Rousey’s final MMA appearance before she transitioned to professional wrestling.
She went on to enjoy a successful run with WWE, becoming the only woman in history to hold titles in both the UFC and WWE. Ronda Rousey’s refusal to take part in the White House card shows her stance as an athlete who chooses her own path. Whether or not she fights again, her influence on women’s MMA remains unmatched.
