Emerging as a rising star in the MMA industry, Joaquin Buckley has been making significant buzz, thanks to his recent winning streak. His string of victories has not only earned him popularity but has also made him bold in the sport.

In light of this, the fighter called out to undefeated Kazakh fighter Shavkat Rakhmonov. Buckley announced this on X after Jack Della Maddalena, Rakhmonov’s opponent, pulled out of the fight due to medical complications. Since Buckley’s unanimous defeat of Nursulton Ruziboev, he has been on a four-fight winning streak and is using this opportunity to claim victory over Rakhmonov, but the Kazakh is not impressed.

Responding to Buckley’s callout, Shavkat Rakhmonov, with his impeccable 18-0 record and 100 per cent win rate, made it clear that he was not one to back down from a challenge.

“I thought your Conor callout was delusional, but you’ve actually outdone yourself that time,” Rakhmonov responded.

The ‘Nomad’ is on his way to a title shot after submitting veteran fighter Stephen Thompson in the second round. He currently ranks way higher than Buckley, but the ‘New Mansa’ is not scared of a challenge. The fighter has called out top fighters like Conor McGregor and Gilbert Burns. There’s still no news on who he will fight, but Buckley is on the verge of becoming a household name in the MMA world.
