EARLY LIFE
Guide Moyo is a seasoned MMA fighter well versed in MMA and is currently ranked #33 in South Africa’s pro featherweights. He has been in seven professional MMA fights and twelve amateur bouts.
MMA CAREER
Moyo has competed in various MMA tournaments such as Extreme Warriors Championship, Fightstar FC, Alpha MMA, Gauteng FC, Resilient Fighting Championship, Singamandla Alpha MMA, Versus Fight Night and EFC. His first amateur battle was in 2018, where he faced Saul Mujokeri and lost the fight following TKO due to a flurry of punches in round two. Next, he faced Max Potgieter but was defeated after a rear naked choke in the opening round. Later, Moyo battled Alfah Nkosi and destroyed his opponent after pummeling him with savage blows, which led to a KO.
Afterwards, he fought Dumisani Gonchamo and won following a round of punches in round two. Next, he battled Ruffus Mantshiumba and won the bout following a unanimous decision. Later, he faced Batista Tange and won following a round of punches. Next, he lost to Boule Godogo after suffering a heavy ground pound. He soon faced Answer Doyisa, but the match was declared a no-contest. However, they soon had a rematch where Moyo annihilated his opponent in round one after locking him in a rear naked choke. Moyo went on to face Hanro Ensline. He won the fight following a unanimous decision.After this, he battled Siyanda Hlatswayo and won by a split decision. His last amateur fight was against Nathanial Komana, but he lost the battle after an armbar move led to his submission.
Moyo finally made his professional debut at EFC 90, where he faced Tshepo Majuba and won the fight following a savage ground pound in round two. Subsequently, he faced Qaasim Coetzee and defeated his opponent via ground pound in the opening round. Next, he battled Warren Richards and won after another heavy ground pound in round one. He soon faced Bradley Swanepoel and lost following a rear naked choke in round one.
Moyo successively fought Shannon Van Tonder and lost following a guillotine choke in round one. Next, he faced Lecture Ntshangase and destroyed his opponent after a TKO. His last recorded fight was in 2023 at EFC 109, where he battled David Mambo and lost following a body slam and flurry of punches that led to a KO in round two.
