Raja Jackson

Following a tournament incident that left pro-wrestler Syko Stu injured and hospitalized, Raja Jackson pleaded not guilty to the assault charges leveled against him.


The UFC legend’s son found himself in hot water after being arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department. The fighter was slated to face Syko Stu at a Knokx Pro event, but things took a dramatic turn that ended with Stu being unconscious.

According to reports, the match was supposed to be a pretense bout until Raja Jackson went off script and body-slammed Stu to the canvas, where he continued to rain down strikes that left Stu unconscious. Shortly after, Stu was admitted to a local hospital, where it was revealed he had suffered jaw trauma, a bone fracture, and the loss of several teeth.

It was disclosed that the two had an altercation before stepping into the cage, but it seemed they had squashed their differences after shaking hands. However, Jackson apparently had other plans once the match began.

Since the arrest, Raja Jackson has been released on $50,000 bail and appeared in court for his arraignment. The 25-year-old is facing one felony count of battery causing bodily injury and one misdemeanor count of battery. The felony charge carries a potential sentence of up to four years in prison.

Based on the charges, Raja Jackson could potentially face up to seven years in prison if convicted. The 25-year-old is due back in court on Nov. 24 for a preliminary hearing in his case.
