Undefeated prospect Amru Magomedov set for high-stakes PFL debut. Rising lightweight prospect Amru Magomedov is ready to take a big step in his career. The 26-year-old former UAE Warriors champion and a close student of Khabib Nurmagomedov is scheduled to make his PFL debut on February 7, 2026 in Dubai.

Under the tutelage of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Magomedov has quickly become one of the most talked-about young lightweights in MMA. His connection to Khabib adds both pressure and expectation, putting a spotlight on his PFL debut. Through nine professional fights, Magomedov has only gone to decision twice. His record is filled with finishes, knockouts and submissions making him a dangerous opponent for any lightweight.

Most recently, he scored a first-round finish over UFC veteran Alex da Silva, setting the tone leading into his jump to PFL. A protégé training under former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, Magomedov was one of the top prospects available when the PFL snatched him up recently and signed the 26-year-old fighter to a deal. Now Magomedov is set to meet Kolton Englund at 155 pounds at the PFL Dubai card in February.

Magomedov will share the card with his teammate and close training partner, Usman Nurmagomedov, who will headline the event by defending his PFL lightweight championship against 2025 tournament winner Alfie Davis. Together, both fighters will look to make a strong statement for their team on fight night.

Now Magomedov looks to make waves in the PFL with Englund attempting to pull off the upset as he joins the promotion on a six-fight win streak of his own after coming up short from signing with the UFC after an appearance on The Contender Series in 2021.

Their matchup is one of the newest additions to the PFL Dubai lineup. The card will also feature the return of undefeated flyweight standout Dakota Ditcheva, who takes on Bellator veteran Denise Kielholtz. In addition, Ramazan Kuramagomedov will face Shamil Musaev in the co-main event, where the promotion will crown its first-ever PFL welterweight champion.

The bout is part of PFL’s 2026 global schedule that kicks off in Dubai. The promotion has confirmed that the card will feature major matchups and aims to solidify Dubai as a major hub for international MMA events. As Magomedov prepares for his debut, all eyes will be on whether he can live up to the hype. All roads lead to Dubai as Amru Magomedov steps into the PFL cage as undefeated, dangerous, and ready to prove why he’s one of MMA’s brightest prospects.
