Onama was soon back on his feet in the final round and fired a jab and leg kick that caught Pearce. Round three began with Pearce evading Onama and staying on his feet before going for a clinch and backing Onama into the cage, but he managed to escape. Onama landed uppercuts, and Pearce fired back. He wrestled Onama to the floor, but his opponent soon got back up. Pearce went in for a takedown that ended in a sprawl, but he wasn’t deterred. He soon went for another takedown and got on Onama’s back but reversed the position. Both opponents continued to swing at each other, exchanging fiery punches, but the match finally ended with a unanimous decision win for Onama.
