The UFC 311 event was a night of exciting bouts as many formidable fighters battled it in the cage. One of these bouts was between former light heavyweight champions Jiri Prochazka and Jamahal Hill.
The tournament took place at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California and was an epic night for fans. Prochazka and Hill came into the cage guns blazing, both eager to get started. Both started off feeling out each other before Prochazka finally went for a takedown where he proceed to deliver some heavy ground and pound before Hill could mount up a defense. Prochazka did not let up as he landed punch after punch. He delivered a nasty left that left Hill’s nose bleed and his eyes swollen from the damage.
Both opponents had an eye poke incident in the second round but it seems Hill finally picked up the pace and was able to connect some punches that left Prochazka’s nose bleed. Prochazka came into the next round determined as he landed a right hand that dropped Hill. He followed his opponent to the ground scoring hit after his before the referee jumped in to end the match leaving Jiri Prochazka winner via TKO.
The night was not only exhilarating but also rewarding for alot of fighters such as Merab Dvalishvili, Umar Nurmagomedov. Jiri Prochazka and Jailton both earned Performance of the Night bonuses ($50,000)
