Some say the fighters introduction lasted longer than the actual fight, but whichever way you feel, Moses Itauma made a statement in his win against Dillian Whyte.

Moses Itauma vs Dillian Whyte

The fight started with both fighters gauging distance using their jabs. Both men threw very fast jabs but it was clear Moses had the speed advantage as he was able to chain multiple punches with lightening speed. His jabs landed, while Whyte’s flew past him. Moses also began punching the body with jabs. Whyte implemented a cross block to defend his head which didn’t help him much.

Slowly pushing Whyte to the edge of the ring, Moses landed a blow on the temple of Whyte which he set up with a shot to the body. He followed up with a left hook that landed on the dome of Whyte’s head which visibly shook him. Whyte tried to fight back but Moses followed up with more blows to the body and head which dropped Whyte as he stumbled to the adjacent ring rope.

The referee began the count and Whyte tried to stand up. However he had clearly lost his balance and was a compromised fighter. The referee then ended the fight at the six count.
