EARLY LIFE
Cole Henning is a kickboxer who transitioned into jiu-jitsu and fell into MMA for the love of the sport. The fighter has been in ten amateur fights and nine professional bouts.
MMA CAREER
The athlete is a formidable fighter and has participated in MMA tournaments and Cage Wars Evolution, Fightstar FC, Rise of the Warrior, Nelspruit Fight Night, EFC Worldwide, and EFC. His first amateur bout was against Marius Engelbrecht, and he won the fight after a first-round TKO. Next, he battled Rodrique Kena and lost after a second-round knockout. After this, he went up against Diewan Ukerman and defeated his opponent after a guillotine choke in round two.
Later, he battled Shane Canbell and defeated his opponent following a verbal submission. Soon, Hennings fought against Lyle Karam and was beaten by a D’arce choke in the first round. Jedri Koekemoer and lost following a TKO. Next, he faced Francois Meyer and lost to a guillotine choke in round one. Afterward, he squared up against Willie McLaggen and dominated his opponent after a rear naked choke in the third round. Following this, he went up against Nico Boshoff and won after a rear naked choke. Subsequently, Hennings fought Roedie Roets and lost following a TKO in round three.
He soon had his first professional debut at EFC Worldwide, where he faced Mario Ferreira and defeated his rival and won the match following a barrage of shots that led to a first-round KO. Later, he battled Saxon Dalefield, but the match ended with a no contest. Pope Djembo was his next opponent, and he lost following a split decision. Successively, Henning battled Rodrique Kena and defeated his opponent after a round of punches led to a TKO in the first round. He battled Serge Kasanda next and won following a unanimous decision. Afterward, he went up against August Kayambala and lost following a split decision. Next, he battled Tumisang Madiba at the EFC 91. He won the match after a first-round TKO.
After that, Henning faced Tshilomba Mikixi and lost the fight after a TKO in the fourth round. His next opponent was Tapiwa Katikati, and he won after a guillotine choke in the third round. His last recorded fight was against Humphrey Mulenga at EFC 109. Mulenga went in for a takedown and hammered Henning with a couple of blows before a grapple. The two continued to scramble. Henning got back on his feet and took down Mulenga, he hammered him with a couple of punches but they soon got back on their feet. Mulenga soon got back on his feet.
