EFC 132 delivered a decisive finish at the top of the card as Adama Diop overpowered Matunga Djikasa to secure a second-round TKO victory in their main event clash on April 9.
The win not only flipped expectations but also marked a major moment for Diop, who stepped into the spotlight and made it count.
The opening round saw both fighters approach with caution. Djikasa looked to establish control early, working behind his movement and trying to dictate range. Diop, however, stayed composed, absorbing the early reads while waiting for openings.
As the fight settled, Diop began to find his rhythm. He pressed forward more confidently, forcing Djikasa to react and gradually shifting the momentum in his favor.
The turning point came in Round 2. Diop increased the pressure and started landing with more authority. His shots carried visible impact, and once he found his range, he didn’t let up. Djikasa, who had managed the first round well, began to struggle under the sustained offense.
A flurry of punches from Diop forced Djikasa onto the defensive, and with no meaningful response coming back, the referee stepped in to wave it off.
