UFC CEO Dana White has once again reignited his long-running feud with boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya, unloading a blistering rant that suggests the bad blood between both men is nowhere near cooling off.
White and De La Hoya were once close, bonded by years in combat sports. During the height of De La Hoya’s boxing career, White frequently sat ringside, watching the former champion rack up some of the biggest wins of his era. That relationship, however, has long since imploded.
Fast forward to 2026, and tensions remain just as sharp. With White now making a serious push into boxing through Zuffa Boxing, De La Hoya has emerged as one of his loudest critics. The Golden Boy Promotions boss recently took aim at White, TKO Group, and Zuffa Boxing, accusing them of attempting to undermine the Muhammad Ali Act. He has also continued to criticize UFC fighter pay under Dana White’s leadership.
“These guys like Eddie [Hearn], Oscar… Oscar’s on a sinking ship and won’t shut the f— up. It’s fascinating,” Dana White said while speaking during a live stream.
“He’s going to have to throw the panties and stockings back on and get on OnlyFans, start paying his rent. My boy is running out of money. The ship is sinking very fast, and he’s talking s— all the way down. Is that what you wanted, everybody? There you go.
“Pay that $23 million in f—ing rent you owe, buddy.”
White’s comments came amid reports that Golden Boy Promotions had defaulted on a commercial mortgage tied to its downtown Los Angeles office building. According to those reports, the property carries a remaining balance of roughly $23 million from a $27 million loan and could be facing foreclosure. While the loan is reportedly tied to Golden Boy Promotions and not De La Hoya personally, White appeared more than happy to mock the situation publicly.
While attending a Zuffa Boxing event at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Dana White joined social media personality Nina Drama on her Kick livestream. Asked initially about Eddie Hearn, White quickly pivoted back to De La Hoya and unloaded another round of insults.
“Oscar is on a sinking ship and will not shut the f— up,” White said. “This guy is fascinating. He’s going to have to throw the panties and fishnets back on and get on OnlyFans to start paying his rent.
“My boy is running out of money. The ship is sinking very fast and he’s talking s— all the way down… Get the panties and fishnets back on and pay the $23 million you owe, buddy.”
White’s reference alludes to a long-publicized scandal from 2007, when photos of De La Hoya wearing fishnets, heels, and a tutu surfaced. De La Hoya initially denied their authenticity before later admitting the images were real.
As of now, De La Hoya has not responded to Dana White’s latest verbal assault. Meanwhile, White appears focused on building momentum for Zuffa Boxing, with reports suggesting heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk is in talks to sign with the promotion.
If history is any indication, this latest exchange is unlikely to be the final chapter in one of combat sports’ most bitter and personal rivalries.
