
BRAVE CF 98 took place at Henan TV Studio in Zhengzhou, China, delivering a night of brutal defeats and relentless takedowns as fighters battled their way to the top in a high-caliber competition.
In the main event, Omar Solomanov faced Rauan Bekbolat in the featherweight division in a highly anticipated rematch. Solomanov came out strong with an early takedown attempt, but Bekbolat stood his ground and defended well throughout the opening exchanges.
In the following rounds, Bekbolat threatened with submission attempts, but the Ukrainian regained control after the third round. From there, Solomanov imposed suffocating ground defense and continued to punish Bekbolat with strikes. After a five-round slugfest, Solomanov emerged victorious, earning a unanimous decision win and the interim featherweight title.

In the co-main event of Brave CF 98, former BRAVE CF bantamweight champion Nicholas Hwende made his return against hometown favorite Xie Bin. Hwende dictated the fight from the opening bell, attacking from all angles and punishing Bin with relentless strikes. Late in the fight, Bin attempted a comeback, but Hwende stayed composed, spaced his shots, and avoided takedowns. In the end, Hwende secured a unanimous decision victory.
