Former UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic is turning the page on his fighting career and stepping into a new phase of life.


After hanging up his gloves following his knockout loss to Jon Jones last November, the Ohio native is now embracing open to new ventures in different fields .Known as one of the greatest heavyweights in UFC history, Miocic has built a reputation for hard work and while many expected him to quietly fade away after retirement, the former two-time champion is doing quite the opposite. He recently announced a new project that puts him back in front of the camera, but in a completely different setting.

Miocic revealed on social media that he will launch a new YouTube series exploring various career paths and hobbies outside of fighting. The upcoming show will follow him as he steps into new roles such as a goalkeeper, tennis player, photographer, and chef.

“After years in the Octagon, it’s time to try something new… Welcome to my new YouTube series: STIPE TRIES.” He said on X.

Throughout his fighting career, Stipe Miocic balanced life as a professional athlete with his long-standing commitment as a volunteer firefighter. His new series aims to showcase his personality, humor, and versatility .

While putting his focus on new passions, Miocic hasn’t forgotten his roots. He recently used his platform to speak out against the decision by Cleveland State University, his alma mater, to cut its wrestling program. The former collegiate wrestler shared an emotional message on social media expressing his disappointment over the move.


“I’m sick to my stomach and heartbroken for these young men and coaches. One of the oldest sports at Cleveland State University, wrestling, is being cut. As a former wrestler at CSU, this program was a huge chapter of my life and shaped me into the person I am today. I’ll always cherish what it gave me.”


“My heart goes out to everyone affected by this decision. I hope there’s still time to make a difference and save this incredible program. Let’s save the program!”


Even in retirement, Miocic continues to embody the heart that defined his legendary run. Whether it’s giving back to his community, fighting for causes that matter, or venturing into new creative pursuits, Stipe Miocic is proving that his fighting spirit extends far beyond the Octagon.
