EARLY LIFE
Mahmoud Atef was born on February 9, 1994, in Egypt, and fights out of Alexandria. Nicknamed “The Golden Boy,” he rose through regional MMA ranks, eventually debuting professionally in early 2021.
MMA CAREER
He made his MKA debut in January 29, 2021 and competed under GalAna Exclusive Championship against Hossam Hassan. However, the bout ended in a no contest due to an accidental low blow. He stepped back into the cage later that year and defeated Amr Essam by unanimous decision at GEC: Fight Nights.
He followed through with two KO wins over Mohamed Al Katheeri and Fouad Al Shami but met his match when he faced Nawras Abzakh and suffered a submission loss (neck crank).
His next bout ended with a TKO loss to Sithembiso Hadebe. Luckily he snapped back soon afterwards and scored a TKO over Abdel Rahman Adel (Nightmare FC 7) followed by a KO over Issa Salem at UAE Warriors 53.
