Liz Carmouche hands Elora Dana her first Loss, books spot in finals. MMA veteran Liz Carmouche showed once again why she’s one of the toughest competitors in the sport. In the co-main event of PFL 6, Carmouche defeats rising star Elora Dana via unanimous decision, ending Dana’s unbeaten streak and advancing to the PFL Women’s Flyweight Finals.
Carmouche, a former UFC and Bellator title contender, showed her experience and power with a dominant TKO win over Ilara Joanne in the quarterfinals. On the other side is Dana, an undefeated rising star who fought and earned her spot in the semifinals with an impressive first-round submission over Diana Avsaragova and now she’s back into the octagon aiming to make a statement again.
With two very different paths converging in the Octagon, both fighters fighting for a ticket to the finals and a life‑changing $500,000 prize, the co-main event sets up a classic showdown.
Carmouche started strong, getting an early takedown in the first round and landing a big elbow that left a bump on Dana’s head. Dana tried to fight back with submission attempts from the ground, but Carmouche’s punches from the top gave her the edge. Right from the first round, Carmouche showed control and composure. Her footwork, cage awareness, and crisp striking kept Dana from finding her rhythm.
In round two, Carmouche kept the pressure on. She controlled the clinch, got another takedown, and briefly held Dana in a tough position. She ended the round with more hard shots, including an elbow that shook Dana right before the bell.
Dana came out swinging in the third, trying to turn things around with combinations. But Carmouche stayed calm, landed strong leg kicks, and controlled the fight to the end. Following the three rounds, Carmouche was declared the winner by unanimous decision.
Last season, Carmouche made it to the PFL Women’s Flyweight Finals but lost to Dakota Ditcheva. She reached this year’s semifinals after a quick finish against Ilara Joanne and now she’s headed to the final in August to face Jena Bishop.

Though Dana showed heart and refused to back down, Carmouche dominated most of the exchanges and kept the pressure on until the final bell. With this win, Liz Carmouche secures her place in the PFL Women’s Flyweight Finals, where she’s set to face Jena Bishop for the title and a shot at the $500,000 grand prize.
