Following the first UFC event in Iowa in 25 years, the promotion awarded bonuses to fighters who delivered some of the most spectacular performances of the night.
In the main event of UFC Des Moines, Cory Sandhagen earned a $50,000 bonus for his dominant grappling display and victory over Deiveson Figueiredo. In the co-main event, Reinier de Ridder received a Performance of the Night bonus after defeating three-time NCAA wrestling champion Bo Nickal in impressive fashion.
Also receiving a $50K bonus was Quang Le, who secured a rear-naked choke win over Gaston Bolanos during the prelims. Rounding out the bonus recipients was Azamat Bekoev, who knocked out Ryan Loder with a powerful right hook.
