UFC Vegas 105 went down Saturday night in Nevada, and while the card delivered plenty of action, four fighters in particular walked away with more than just a win as they each snagged a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.
First one the list is Rhys McKee, whose first UFC victory was a long time in the making. After going 0-4 across two stints with the promotion, McKee finally got it done — and in brutal fashion. He stopped Daniel Frunza in the first round after a nasty barrage that forced a doctor’s stoppage. It was an emotional and much-needed win for the Irishman, and the bonus money only made it sweeter.
Flyweight veteran Ode Osbourne also made a statement. Taking on recent Contender Series pick-up Luis Gurule, Osbourne turned up the pressure in the second round and finished the fight with strikes, earning his first bonus since mid-2022. A solid bounce-back for “The Jamaican Sensation.”
Dione Barbosa was another standout. She showed off her grappling chops against Diana Belbita, controlling the fight before locking in a slick arm-triangle choke in the first round. That win improved her UFC record to 2-1 — and earned her a cool 50K.
Rounding out the bonus winners was Chang Ho Lee, who officially made his UFC debut after earning a contract through the “Road to UFC” tournament. Lee put on a grappling clinic against Cortavious Romious, dominating for over eight minutes before scoring a second-round TKO. It was a one-sided performance that left little doubt he belongs on the big stage.
