EARLY LIFE

The fighter is of Nigerian origin but was born in London. He is a former rugby player who transitioned into the MMA industry in 2021. He has participated in various MMA tournaments throughout his career. Olajiga is currently ranked #103 in the USA pro heavyweight fighters. He is affiliated with Marathon MMA and has been in four professional and three amateur battles.

MMA CAREER

The athlete has fought in several competitions, including FAC, LFA, Shamrock FC, Fight Hard MMA, DCS, and Xtreme Fight Night. His first amateur fight was against BJJ blue belt Harley Heavner. Olajiga covered the distance between him and his rival and backed him into a corner, where he grappled him to the ground and followed with hammer fists. He pounded Heavner until the referee called off the fight, leading to Olajiga’s victory.

Next, he faced Zeb Vincent at the Light Heavyweight. Vincent came in swinging hard, but Olaijga responded with a right hook. His rival performed a takedown, but Olajiga got back on his feet and threw fatal strikes. The two battled viciously, but Vincent returned with hammer fists and blows before round one ended. Round two began with a takedown by Vincent, who kept Olajiga in a leglock and slammed him continuously on the face and body before going for a rear naked choke that led to a submission by Olajiga. In his next fight, he faced off against Znick Ferrell and won the bout in round two.


Soon afterward, he faced Obinna Ikebunna but suffered defeat after an armbar submission in the opening round. Next, he faced Tyler Johnson and kicked off the round with a leg kick. Olajiga kept his defenses up and cornered Johnson to the cage before a takedown. He landed several punches, but Johnson put him in a lock to prevent more strikes. Olajiga slipped through the lock and pummeled Johnson with punches and hammer fists, leading to his defeat via TKO. Later, he faced DeWayne Diggs and lost the fight in round three via unanimous decision. His last recorded professional bout was against 6-foot giant Zach Hughes. Olajiga came into the fight with a beautiful takedown and delivered hammer fists to his face before the referee ended the fight in round one, leading to Olajiga’s victory via TKO.
