UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley recently called out Conor McGregor for being a drug addict.
The reigning UFC bantamweight champion O’Malley came out on Monday to taunt former two-division champ Conor McGregor after the Irishman quote-tweeted a post with a laughing emoji about O’Malley’s drug test failure for ostarine. O’Malley recently discussed a recent study by UFC drug-testing czar Jeff Novitzky on his podcast. The discussion was on how ostarine can be transferred through sweat, and ‘Suga’ wondered if that could be the reason for his test failures.
Despite his recent callout, O’Malley has mentioned his love for McGregor time and time again. However, that hasn’t deterred him from taking a swipe at the fighter, both in earlier times and now.
‘Suga’ recently took shots at McGregor’s fighting prowess and pointed out that the Irishman was mentally weak and needed rehab for his alleged drug addiction.
“Conor isn’t in anyone’s GOAT talk. Entertainment, yes, but skills, no. Has a really good left hand. Shit Cardio. Weak jits. Decently athletic. Mentally weak. Drug addict needs rehab. 1-4 last 5 fights. Still a fan tho. Hope toe heals up.”
O’Malley also wrote in his post: “Miss the old Conor🙁 you fell off bud. Still a fan tho. I actually don’t care. You are 1-4 in your last 5. I’m still excited watch. Hope the toe is feeling better. I think he’s a bitch.”
This will not be the first time the two fighters will clash. In May, O’Malley received backlash after McGregor included him in a tirade against Ryan Garcia after the boxer failed a drug test for ostarine.
“I’ll forever be a massive Conor fan,” O’Malley told MMA Fighting. “The biggest fan watched his career play out and watched every single interview possible. I learned a ton from him. He’s a legend. That’s it. It is what it is,”
