Seven-division world champion Amanda Serrano will bring her remarkable boxing career to an end on January 9, 2027, when she returns to Puerto Rico to defend her unified featherweight world titles against Australia’s Skye Falzon.

Serrano’s farewell fight, officially named “The Last Walk”, will take place at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, with the event set to stream live on DAZN.
The 38-year-old Puerto Rican boxer will put her WBA and WBO featherweight titles on the line against Falzon in what promises to be an emotional homecoming for one of the most accomplished fighters in women’s boxing.

After competing on some of boxing’s biggest stages, Serrano has chosen to conclude her professional career in front of her home supporters.
With a record of 50 wins, four defeats and one draw, including 32 knockouts, Serrano has established herself as one of the sport’s most decorated female fighters. She has won world championships across seven weight divisions and made history as Puerto Rico’s first and only undisputed boxing champion.

Announcing her retirement, Serrano expressed how much it meant to end her career where her journey began.
She also reflected on her role in helping women’s boxing gain greater recognition, from fighting on smaller shows to headlining major events and opening opportunities for the next generation of female fighters.

Standing across the ring from Serrano will be Australia’s Skye Falzon, who enters the matchup with a professional record of 12 wins and two defeats, including seven victories by knockout.
Falzon is ranked No. 4 by the WBA and will have the opportunity to challenge for unified world titles against one of the biggest names in women’s boxing.

Although Serrano’s retirement will naturally attract much of the attention, Falzon will be looking to spoil the farewell and leave Puerto Rico with the biggest victory of her career.
For Serrano, however, the stakes extend beyond another successful title defence. She will be looking to close a historic career with a victory in front of her own fans.

With Serrano looking to give her home crowd one final reason to celebrate and Falzon determined to pull off the biggest upset of her career, the stage is set for a memorable showdown.
