Former UFC flyweight champion Alexa Grasso is officially set to return to the Octagon at Noche UFC 4, where she will face fellow top contender Manon Fiorot in a pivotal bout that could have major title implications.

After reigniting her championship hopes earlier this year, Alexa Grasso now has another opportunity to prove she belongs among the division’s elite as she looks to work her way back to a shot at UFC gold.

According to reports, Grasso and Fiorot will square off on Sept. 12 at Noche UFC 4 in Glendale, Arizona. MMA journalist Marcel Dorff was the first to report the matchup.

The fight marks another significant chapter in Grasso’s comeback journey after a difficult stretch that saw her go winless in three consecutive outings following her title-winning run.

Alexa Grasso reminded the MMA world of her elite talent in March when she delivered one of the most memorable finishes of the year against Maycee Barber at UFC Seattle. The former champion stopped Barber in brutal fashion, earning what many considered an early contender for Knockout of the Year and thrusting herself back into the flyweight title conversation.

Before that victory, Grasso had endured a challenging period. After submitting Valentina Shevchenko to capture the UFC flyweight title at UFC 285, she faced the longtime champion in two consecutive rematches. Her struggles continued with a loss to rising contender Natalia Silva, extending her winless streak to three fights.

However, Grasso’s dominant performance against Barber changed the narrative and re-established her as one of the division’s biggest threats. Now, she faces another stern test in Fiorot.

The French contender returns to action for the first time since defeating Jasmine Jasudavicius at UFC Vancouver last October. Fiorot previously challenged Shevchenko for the flyweight title but fell short via unanimous decision in her first championship opportunity.

Despite that setback, Fiorot remains one of the division’s most dangerous contenders. She holds notable victories over Erin Blanchfield, Katlyn Chookagian, and Jennifer Maia and is eager to earn another crack at UFC gold.
The matchup carries significant stakes for both fighters.

With reigning champion Valentina Shevchenko yet to announce her next fight, many expect top-ranked contender Natalia Silva to receive the next title opportunity. That leaves Alexa Grasso and Fiorot battling to strengthen their cases for a future championship shot.

A victory for either woman could place them firmly at the front of the queue for the winner of a potential Shevchenko-Silva title fight.

While the UFC has yet to confirm whether Grasso vs. Fiorot will headline the event, the bout already stands out as one of the most important flyweight matchups on the calendar.

For Alexa Grasso, the fight represents more than another appearance at Noche UFC. It is a chance to continue her resurgence, build on the momentum from her spectacular win over Barber, and move one step closer to reclaiming the title she once held.

As Noche UFC celebrates Mexican Independence Day once again, Grasso will return to one of the promotion’s most significant stages, hoping another statement performance can bring her back to championship contention.
