Joe Rogan has admitted he feels uneasy about the upcoming UFC event scheduled to take place at the White House, especially with ongoing geopolitical tensions dominating global headlines.
The UFC recently unveiled plans for UFC Freedom 250, a historic fight card set for June 14 at the White House. The announcement generated massive buzz when the full lineup was revealed during the broadcast of UFC 326.
While fans are excited about the spectacle, Rogan believes the timing raises serious concerns given the escalating conflict in the Middle East and the growing involvement of the United States.
Speaking on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan shared his thoughts about the unusual circumstances surrounding the event.
“It sounds crazy,” Rogan said. “I know it’s going to be very high security and high stress and weird to have a fight at the White House in the middle of a f*cking war. I would hope the war will be sorted out by June, but quite honestly, I’m not confident that’s going to be the case.”
Joe Rogan also pointed out that the gathering of several high-profile figures in one location could create additional security challenges.
“That will be weird, having this very high-profile event where everybody is in one place at one time,” Rogan added.

At the moment, it remains unclear whether Joe Rogan will serve as a commentator for UFC Freedom 250. Traditionally, Rogan handles color commentary alongside Daniel Cormier and play-by-play announcer Jon Anik.
However, the UFC has not yet confirmed the official broadcast team for the historic card.
The promotion plans to hold the event in front of roughly 5,000 invited guests, with no public tickets being sold. Officials have repeatedly emphasized that extensive security measures will be in place.
Still, Rogan believes the nature of the event could attract unwanted attention.
“It seems like you’re asking for trouble,” Rogan said. “How can you not think of that?”
Despite the concerns raised by Joe Rogan, the UFC has stacked the card with major championship fights.
The UFC White House main event will feature reigning lightweight champion Ilia Topuria taking on interim titleholder Justin Gaethje in a title unification bout.
In the co-main event, Alex Pereira will face Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight championship.
