UFC CEO Dana White has firmly dismissed reports claiming the highly anticipated UFC White House event would move from June 14 to June 26, making it clear that the promotion’s historic show remains exactly where it was originally scheduled.

Speculation surfaced after a report from Puck News suggested the event date had shifted and that production costs were rapidly escalating. The report also claimed the fight card could now carry a staggering $60 million price tag, potentially making it the most expensive event in UFC history.

“Media is so full of s—, White House fight date is the same; Sunday June 14th,” White wrote on his Instagram story.

The confirmation from Dana White settles weeks of uncertainty surrounding the unprecedented event, which will take place on the South Lawn of the White House as part of President Donald Trump’s America 250 celebration.

Reports suggesting a June 26 date raised eyebrows across the MMA world, as it would have placed the fights on a Friday, a major departure from the UFC’s traditional Saturday scheduling model. White’s response made it clear that no such change exists.

The June 14 date also carries symbolic weight, as it coincides with Trump’s birthday, with even international scheduling reportedly adjusted to accommodate the event.

Dana White previously warned fans that the White House card would surpass the promotion’s previous financial benchmarks. The UFC reportedly spent more than $20 million producing UFC 306 at the Sphere in Las Vegas, which had been viewed internally as one of the most ambitious productions ever staged.

Now, estimates suggest the White House show could triple that figure. While the UFC has not confirmed exact expenditures, production alone, including construction, security logistics, and infrastructure, is expected to push costs toward the reported $60 million mark.

White has already revealed that replacing the South Lawn grass after the event will cost approximately $700,000.
To stage the event, the UFC plans to build a full Octagon setup directly on the South Lawn, complete with bleachers and controlled seating areas. Fighters are expected to make a ceremonial walk to the cage from the Oval Office, adding another layer of spectacle to the event.

Attendance remains limited due to security concerns and underground infrastructure beneath the lawn, including tunnels and protective facilities. Current projections suggest fewer than 3,000 general attendees, with roughly 1,000 seats reserved for military personnel.

Fans unable to attend in person may still experience the event through large public viewing areas planned near the National Mall, where more than 60,000 spectators could gather to watch on giant screens.

Meanwhile, ceremonial weigh-ins and a pre-fight press conference are expected to take place at the Lincoln Memorial.

Despite early speculation about an oversized mega-card featuring numerous title fights, sources indicate the event will feature a tighter lineup.

TKO Group Holdings CEO Ari Emanuel previously suggested the show will include six to seven fights rather than an extended championship-heavy program. Current expectations point toward two world title bouts instead of the eight fights initially rumored.

Dana White has also confirmed the White House card will not operate as a traditional numbered pay-per-view event. Instead, the promotion plans to present it as a special attraction broadcast, with Paramount+ expected to carry the show and possible simulcast discussions involving CBS still ongoing.

With June 14 fast approaching, Dana White and the UFC continue working through complex logistics, security clearances, seating arrangements, and final matchmaking decisions.

No fights have been officially announced yet, but preparations are moving at full speed as the promotion attempts to deliver what could become one of the most ambitious sporting events ever staged.

For Dana White, the message remains simple: the date is locked, the vision is massive, and the UFC is determined to make history on the White House lawn.
